Management Tan Chee Chye
Chairman
Tan Chee Chye founded World Expresss in 1969 and has always positioned World Express to be at the
forefront of the travel industry.
A visionary travel industry leader, "Chye" was a pioneer board member of the Singapore Tourist Board (1964) and continued to serve as a STB board member for several terms. He is a Past President of Singapore Travel Agents Association (1968/71) and SKAL Club, Singapore (1971). Chye has been actively engaged in PATA for over 40 years. He was first appointed a PATA Board Member in 1968 and has chaired several committees. In 1996, he received PATA's highest honour - Life Member.  Darren Tan
Managing Director
Darren is the Managing Director of World Express, overseeing the day-to-day operations and strategic planning
of the World Express Group. He has been active in the travel industry since 1991,
with extensive experience in inbound travel, ground transportation, cruises and events management.
Darren has served as Vice President of SITE Singapore (Society of Incentive and Travel Executives) and in NATAS committees (National Association of Travel Agencies Singapore). Darren graduated from Tufts University, USA in 1987 with a Bachelors degree in International Relations. |
