After a nine-month absence, the cable cars between Mount Faber and Sentosa Island now sports a fresh new look after a S$36 million overhaul. Eight people can fit into a cabin.
A new mono-cable system means the ride - at 13 minutes one way - is smoother and faster than before. It will suspend the cars 120m above sea-level, 30m higher than previously, to give enough clearance below.
These new generation cabins will be officially known as the 'Jewel Cable Car Ride'; featuring :

- Level walk-in concept for easy access for wheelchairs and baby prams
- Interior and exterior ambient lights
A one way (13 mins) ride costs S$24 per person.
