Renault Brazil goes Peranakan

▪ 10 – 16 August 2015.

Singapore along with Koh Samui were paired together for Renault Brazil’s incentive program to Asia in August 2015.

The final Singapore event was a four-day, there-night incentive programme that include several half-day sightseeing tours to key venues such as Gardens by the Bay and SEA Aquarium as well as cultural and ethnic precincts. Gastronomic experiences at restaurants such as Stellar at 1-Altitude, St. Pierre’s and Ocean Restaurant by Cat Cora were also featured. The highlight was the gala dinner a Raffles House, located at Fort Canning Hill. It was selected for its historical character and unique location.

Five Mercedes Vianos were deployed to ferry the guests from Grand Hyatt right up to the lawn area of the Raffles House on the night of the gala dinner. It was a pleasant surprise for the guests as they were driven through the park in the dark, and as they arrived at Raffles House, the live band started singing and provided an up-tempo welcome. Guests also caught the Marina Bay Wonderful Laser Show right before they headed into the venue for dinner. The venue, while charming, provided logistical challenges with regards the restrooms. The nearest restrooms are a three minutes’ walk from the house. They had to be cleaned up and equipped with toilet amenities, while the pathway to the restrooms was lit up. Two male ushers escorted guests to the restrooms.

As part of the programme experience, guests received room drops every evening, which included souvenirs such as Risis orchids, non-alcoholic perfume and tea. Each gift was personalized with a message in Portuguese for our valued participants.

The finale of the stay was the final evening when our live band did a great job of entertaining the guests, with many of them dancing and singing throughout the three sets of performances. The guests also enjoyed their shopping time while exploring Singapore’s multicultural precincts.
